Are you Black? Have you ever stood against racism? Are you aware of how many Black leaders have been killed, their families killed and tortured, FIRED from their jobs, blocked from earning a living or speaking out in modern society? If Facebook and diversity courses is the worst thing you've faced, well good for you. You do realize you don't HAVE to be on Facebook, but I CANNOT take off my Black skin.
Fighting racism causes death threats, attacks on your character, random acts of violence against you and your family, and yes, people are STILL being hung today, although it won't make national news because America wants to hide it's dirty doings.
It is laughable that anyone would make these statements, but if you are not a Black man, you would have no way of knowing this. Do you worry about getting shot in your back for walking down the street? Or for wearing a hoodie? Or being a 12 year old playing with a toy gun and getting shot twice at point-blank range? Do you worry about cops beating you with batons until you can barely breathe? Do you worry about being shot right in front of your 4 year old daughter? Trust me, you have no idea of the ignorance of these comments. Please educate yourself. A simple Google search will show you that worrying about a Facebook like is the LEAST of the worries of a Black person.
