I know you cannot do this because such text does not exist. Children are not taught about slavery and laws are now being passed to make sure they won’t have a full picture of American history. My own state has enacted these laws and so have many others.

There is no intelligent debate about whether or not this country places its most horrific sin as a priority in classrooms because this is simply not the case. Most White people won’t talk about it even in a comment without deflecting so we all know there are no detailed discussion or instruction on it in primary school.
