Cultural appropriation goes much further than adapting a style. It entails taking elements of value from another ethnic group and trivializing their meaning and history. White people have stolen from other groups since the beginning of time including this indigenous land that so many Americans claim as their own and have the audacity to deny entry to those who are decedents of its original owners.
