Funny you say this because besides the sprinkle of lessons focusing on slaves and civil rights, US history education has ALWAYS focused on the White experience. That’s what all of us non-White people have been forced to learn from grade school to undergrad and grad school. But not ONCE have I heard a White person acknowledge how wrong THAT is.
