Hi Avis, and I appreciate you for reading. We both share this same frustration. I love the beats too, and I love young people expressing their creativity, but the media has gone in on making sure this narrative is the most prominent representative of our communities. They already consider us to be a monolith and in most cases that equates to us being dangerous people out to rob, shoot, or destroy. It is very sad and such a task trying to reclaim our narrative in this country.
