Hi Peggy, and thank you so much for reading. It was quite a sight to see, but unfortunately her sentiment was nothing new to Black women. It's a difficult thing to dismantle because of the conditioning that continues to take place in this country, but my hope is that the more we all continue to speak out about it and shine a spotlight on what's really happening, the more uncomfortable conversations will begin to take place and give way to a greater consciousness. I appreciate your mindset and hope it becomes contagious : )
