I agree 100% but this goes both ways. If White people can express their displeasure about how Black people choose to communicate their personal experiences (which is the definition of controlling in and of itself) then Black people also have the right to express how they feel about the criticism they receive. Neither side is more privileged than the other and both are coming from their own vantage point - which in my opinion can neither be right or wrong.

We are all human beings and as writers it's our passion to express ourselves through the written word. Criticism on this forum can hardly be deemed healthy when people are calling you a nigger, seeing your picture and saying how good it would be to rape a "pretty Black bitch" or threatening to kill you. Most intelligent adults can have civil discussions about issues we may be at odds with but again, these forums bring out the derelicts of society that you as White men do not have to deal with. They only come for us.
