I also live in the South, which has no bearing on racism since Black people experience it all over the country. I just scrolled down to see your latest article and if you are Black writing an article like that about the Wonder Years, along with the others where your focus is on minimizing the Black experience, you and I are simply on two different levels of consciousness and understanding, and that's okay. I've encountered white women posing as Black to be provocative and I suspect this is also you, but since you have no photo I don't have the authority to confirm it. But what I can say is that your articles, whether you are Black or white, are clearly focused on belittling claims of racism or inequality in this country.

Here is your quote about institutionalized racism:

"I have no idea if the word “institutional racism” was circulating around for a long time and just recently got popular or if it was a recent introduction."

If you understood institutionalized racism, you would know the origin of this term and could easily find a plethora of examples of how it functions today. Your articles from Misty Copeland, to Central Park Karen, to this one appear to express your frustration with the insistence of Black people speaking about race and has the tone of a white person saying, "Just shut up about it" as if Black people talking about it is more of a problem than its existence.

Yes, this article is just one topic, but all of your articles that don't focus on pets have the same undertone. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.
