I always learn so much from your incredible articles. I wasn't aware of the Hampton home in foreclosure and was shocked to hear in three years there was no overwhelming financial support to save it. You make an excellent point of contributing proceeds from these films to the real-life activists without whom these movies wouldn't be made. It's strange (but I guess not surprising) that that hasn't been the standard for all bio-pics of Black and Brown activists since most who lived beyond the trauma are still suffering. Maybe your powerful voice can help bring this to fruition.
