I beg to differ. Your proximity to Blackness does not automatically make you an expert. If you truly understood the evolution of oppression caused by White people, you would know that what happened here in America 400 years ago has carried over through the generations to PRESENT DAY. Black people continue to be oppressed by White people. This isn't something up for discussion - it is a fact and I have lived that reality for more than 50 years, as have my parents, my grandparents, my great-grandparents, and so on.

If you were 'fully aware" of what is happening, you would not have made that statement. I am not speaking of South Africa, I am speaking of America. I am African as well, from Nigeria, so I'm not sure what you stating your origin has to do with what is happening here in America. The indoctrinated history taught in the states would have you believe in what you say. It's offensive for you to say "Black people are at the bottom of the food chain" instead of the truth which is Black people are constantly being held under the foot of White supremacy and THAT is why they may not rise to the levels of general wealth and success as our White counterparts. This isn't a pull yourself up by the bootstrap problem. It's a "get your damn knee off our necks, stop controlling our progress, mind your own business, and let Black people LIVE" problem.

I referenced Black Wall Street for context that you could see because these situations still exist, although more covertly. I have no desire to teach you anything other than when you use words like 'woke' when you don't know the meaning, it does more harm than good. Sometimes learning isn't such a bad thing.
