I have truly missed your presence but I completely understand the necessity of you needing to step away to continue your work. You are THE voice of our generation and this piece is yet another article that should be required reading. Every word is the hard truth that cannot be disputed. I'm beyond exhausted partnering with White women who feign solidarity but center discussions around themselves. I sat in on many "summits" where the conversation actually turned to white feminism when the supposed objective was anti-racism. And this was facilitated on a voluntary basis, so these women purposely showed up with no intention to contribute anything meaningful to the conversation. It was an attempt to ease guilt and a photo op.
