I often felt the conflict of speaking up when I was out with my children when they were younger, too. I wasn’t sure if I would create a situation that might be dangerous for them. But when I did, I felt better and more empowered. And now that my children are adults, they also stand up against any ill-treatment they receive. You are doing the right thing to speak out.
