If you felt this article was directed at you, then that is something that you should address directly with yourself. Your condescending tone is not lost on me in the slightest. White people have often taken the intelligence of Black people for granted and you using the tired, "angry upset Black woman’ trope will not work with me. I am responding to something you took the time to write. And again, I don’t need to "ask myself" anything. I said what I said, I meant it, and nothing you can suggest will ever change that. I think you should begin to understand that the only person you have the right to orchestrate thoughts for is yourself. I can write and function just fine independently. And if my speaking to point out what I didn’t agree with deems me as "angry" once again proves my point of the systemic racism and prejudice in this country. And no need for the luck. I’m already quite successful.
