It SHOULD be that way, but for many of us it is not. We have to take the stance that just because of freedom of speech and expression, that doesn't give people the right to speak to us without any type of decorum or respect. Just like White people don't like when they feel Black people are "telling them what to do" we don't want to be disrespected, yelled at, or called out of our names and then have these derogatory comments disguised as "fruitful discussions." I'm not saying this is what you are doing but if you take the time to read through some of my comment seconds, MANY White men are doing just that purposely.
