It's impossible to move beyond racism and oppression without accountability. Black people did not oppress themselves in the past and nor do we do it now.

There are several great writers on Medium who explain this as well. If you have a problem with my expression, perhaps you can find another author who writes more to your liking. I'm not sure what you are speaking of when you mean a high profile media case. I've been Black my entire life, you don't know me personally, and your combativeness proves my point that I attempted to express my article perfectly.
