Just got my copy of Exploring Shadism and can’t wait to dive into it. I’m going to present it to my book club for our next book discussion because it has always been so difficult to get people to talk about and even acknowledge this very real “ism.” In my experience as a dark skinned woman, it’s clear to me that shadism exists in all facets of life but similar to racism, people can be very closed off and even apathetic about the psychological ramifications of it. I know your book will help with dispelling the myths about it and promote education. Can’t wait to get into it!
