Most of us as Black women believe, "If I had a Black doctor, I wouldn't be going through (insert problem)" and it's so disheartening to hear your story. I'm terribly sorry you had such a frustrating and anxiety-ridden experience with a doctor's office that most of us would not expect this type of treatment. Thankfully you have a friend in the medical field who was able to help you.

I hope you were able to find a suitable doctor who practices empathy and compassion along with reliable and effective medical procedures. This is quite a cautionary tale for women that should be taken to heart. Thank you so much for sharing your story.
