My article is not about diversity training. Whatever problem you have with that, please take that up with your employer and not me.
I am not speaking to people who hold the beliefs that you do. This is not for everyone nor am I naive enough to believe so. Those who remain apathetic to the condition of Black people in America, those who refuse to address this head-on without inserting other situations into the discussion are not the people I am trying to reach.
Germans may engage with you but trust me, a Black person engaging with a racist white person will not garner the same response. This is not solved with people who refuse to address the issue - this is solved with white people who are secure enough to see beyond their own defensive and are will to use their power and privilege to make a difference. You are focusing on things that have no bearing on bringing about realistic change, so our exchange will be nothing but a back and forth and there's no time for fruitless discussions when we have lives to save.
