The "not-all" issues has been a thorn in my side for as long as I can remember and both you and Allison Gaines have written excellent articles that express exactly how I feel about it. I stopped with the "some" or "few" myself for the same reason you stated in this quote. And I also noticed when I did do it, it became almost a carte blanc invitation for people to STILL say "not all" as if I wrote that part in invisible ink.
