On what facts? Who is to decide which facts are true? We live in a society where "alternative facts" has actually become the norm. America has lied to its citizens about the racist, oppressive, and genocidal parts of its history since its inception. Who determines the truth? White people? Are they the only people who matter? That is why I say you cannot take issue with someone's opinion UNLESS you allow others to take one with YOURS. Ideas clearly expressed to who's standards? Everyone has different standards and ideas depending on their ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and life experience. Again, this cannot be a one size fits all situation because people will always be left behind that way. That is what people of color have been dealing with trying to fit into a white-washed world and that is ENOUGH. We are tired of that and it's time for things to change. PAST time, actually.
