Respectfully the Jewish experience and the Black experience is not exactly the same. You do not have to endure seeing your relatives placed in concentration camps, but we still have to endure seeing our people senseless murdered in the streets, shot in the back, or our children viciously shot by police for playing with toy guns. It is not the same. We are still in the belly of racism, discrimination and oppression.

It is not a Black person's choice to not have peace. This country refuses to allow it because we remain under attack. White people fear Black people having any remote form of power because they fear we will do to them what they have done to use for the past 400 years. This couldn't be further from the truth. Black people simply want to be left alone to purse happiness just like everyone else. But their fear and remorseful guilt of what they KNOW they are inflicting on my people keeps them defensive.

And as long as we have to be on guard from hate-mongers, unfortunately there is no peace. The descendants of our ancestors oppressors are OUR oppressors. It is not our job to make peace with them, the responsibility falls upon their shoulders to do right by US. In no other situation is a wronged person expected to rectify a situation caused by a bully. The fact that any person suggests this to Black people is beyond problematic. This is why Black history education is so important. When I speak to non-Black people, the thought is "why don't they just move on?" but it's due to lack of understanding of our TRUE history and apathy to what is currently happening today.
