Thank you for reading. The conversation will never shift away from race because white people won't allow it. This society functions through white supremacy. We (Black people) did not create this situation. We did not oppress ourselves. We would PREFER that the conversation not be able race and we'd like to have to stop thinking about race every second of every day. But Black people are DYING because of it and we don't have the luxury to wish it away.

I often receive long, well-thought-intelligent responses like yours which I appreciate, but if I'm honest, they infuriates me a bit. We don't want people to continue to use stats, history that doesn't belong to us, or opinions on how we are fighting for our own lives the wrong way. We simply want people who truly do care about all human beings to roll up their sleeves and help. Period. While I appreciate the time you took to write this, I would have preferred knowing what you plan to do in your own personal life to help end racism.
