Often these feelings manifest out of ignorance since the topic of race remains taboo and regulated only to discussions in the Black community - even though we are already well-versed in this area! It will be up to the writers and fearless educators to put out information since the move to dismiss all Afro-American history in schools is in full force across this county. That voids out what you so rightfully suggest that we are all part of humanity. The fight to dehumanize my people unfortunately weighs much heavier in the US.
