Thanks for commenting. I’m not real clear on the point you’re trying to make but yes, I do agree that Colorism definitely exists within all marginalized groups. I am a darker-skinned Black woman and I’m subjected to it all the time. I’m not sure where you live but I’m America it’s extremely prevalent, although very difficult to discuss with Black people because most refuse to address it.

Where I live, you are treated MUCH better the lighter your skin or the more racially ambiguous you are. The more you appear to be Black, the harder it becomes to receive fair treatment. And again, racism is tied to POWER so it is virtually Impossible for any member of a marginalized group to use racism to their advantage. I do not know of any part of America where White people are restricted from jobs, homes, schools, or any pursuit of happiness by Black people. Yes Black people on individual bases have achieved a level of power. But we do not control the federal government, the judicial system, or have a monopoly on financial institutions to assert power over White people. That’s just a simple fact based on statistics. There is no point in American history that can be recalled when Black people suppressed White people as a whole. And if you can find it, I’d love to hear about it.
