This highlight literally brought me to tears that I was not expecting. You are such an INCREDIBLE writer and write with so much raw emotion, that I felt a palpable sense of you mustering up the courage to do what was right for YOU. So many of us as Black women constantly put others first and neglect our own mental and physical health in our efforts to just "keep going" in spite of the voice in our heads telling us, "this is not good for you."
