This is a great article and I was all the way with you until this point. I am a peacemaker and always search for humanity in every situation, but I've come to see there is a certain segment of the US population that does not respond to kindness from those they feel are beneath them and unworthy of decency. Too many of my people have been hurt or killed during acts of kindness to racist groups so the best that most Black folk can do when confronted by a MAGA member is do our best to ignore them. They would only burn the branch if extended.
