What a wonderful, honest, and insightful article that was truly a pleasure to read. I love hearing different perspectives and as a Black woman, I can admit that I often wondered what middle-class White women would struggle with, but your article reminded me that we are all human beings with unique challenges that deserve a space to be expressed. I can imagine the dilemma of feeling as if your anger may not be justified while others are suffering on different levels, but all forms of human emotion deserve respect, acknowledgment, compassion, and hopefully a chance to connect with others in similar situations for solidarity and comfort.

I am a firm believer of coming together with White mothers to build upon our common bond of motherhood and hopefully foster a strong allyship between us and also work together to create a better, more inclusive world for mothers of all backgrounds.
