With all due respect, as a woman of color I think I'm more qualified to speak on this topic than you, Sir. The moment you put "but" after your phrase, you asserted that my words are something that needed your approval. They do not.

The article is entitled, "Thoughts from the heart of a Black woman". "A" Black woman, not ALL. Please review the responses from not only women of color but other White women as well and you will find that my article resonates with women of all walks of life. I've been a Black woman for 50 years, I think I've lived, seen enough and experienced enough in this brown skin to speak effectively on the topic of what Black women think and feel in this country.

It is because of comments like this that we have so far to go in this country. This article was written for White women to just listen and understand, not judge or criticize, since as Black women this is what we have endured in this country for the past 400+ years. Thank you for proving my point so eloquently and for adding a misogynistic spin that a White man feels he not only has the ability to speak for women, but for BLACK women as well.
