You and I are definitely on the same page with this one. So many mixed emotions. I too, grew up on the Cosby Show and A Different World. I dressed like Denise Huxtable when I was in college and the Huxtable family was the only show on TV that had a family that looked like mine. Bill Cosby's parenting on the show reminded me (and still do) of my father who passed away in 2016 so the show now actually brings me a sense of comfort.
I am a survivor of sexual assault, so I was trying to look at it from both sides. I believed some of the women as well, but it has been so hard to reckon with the fact that he did it.
